膜相关环指蛋白5抗体产物介绍：background: MARCH5 is a member of the E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase family. This mitochonrial E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase plays an importnat role in controlling the morphology of the mitochondria. E3 ubiquitin ligases accept ubiquitin from an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme in the form of a thioester and then directly transfer the ubiquitin to targeted substrates. MARCH5 has been shown to interact with MTFN2 and ubiquitinated forms of DRP1. Function: Mitochondrial E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that plays a crucial role in the control of mitochondrial morphology by acting as a positive regulator of mitochondrial fission. May play a role in the prevention of cell senescence acting as a regulator of mitochondrial quality control. Promotes ubiquitination of FIS1, DNM1L and MFN1. Subunit: Monomer and homodimer.
