脑啡肽础抗体产物介绍：background: The Proenkephalin precursor proteins are secreted proteins belonging to the opioid neuropeptide precursor family. The Proenkephalin proteins are proteolytically processed to form active secreted opioid peptides, which function as ligands for the ⅹ-type of opioid receptor. The Proenkephalin A precursor contains Synenkephalin, Leu-enkephalin and Met-enkephalin processed active peptides, while the Proenkephalin B precursor contains beta-neoendorphin, Dynorphin, Leumorphin, Leu-enkephalin and rimorphin processed active peptides. beta-endorphin and Met-enkephalin are endogenous opiates, while ACTH is crucial for adrenal gland stimulation to release cortisol. MSH increases melanin production in melanocytes, which leads to an increase in skin pigmentation. Leumorphin may be important in apoptosis prevention by being involved in the MAP kinase and PI 3-kinase pathways. Function: Dynorphins are a class of peptides produced by many different populations of neurons, which has some opiate like activity. It is thus classed as an endogenous opioid peptide. The dynorphins, which include dynorphin A, 脑啡肽础抗体dynorphin B, alpha and beta neoendorphin, and big dynorphin, are all the products of a single gene, 'preprodynorphin'. Dynorphin is produced in many different parts of the brain, including the hypothalamus, the hippocampus and the spinal cord, and has many different physiological actions, depending upon its site of production. Dynorphin is involved in modulating responses to several psychoactive substances, including cocaine. As such, it may help some individuals against addiction. Blocking dynorphin may help alleviate depression. DISEASE: Defects in PDYN are the cause of spinocerebellar ataxia type 23 (SCA23) [MIM:610245]. Spinocerebellar ataxia is a clinically and genetically heterogeneous group of cerebellar disorders. Patients show progressive incoordination of gait and often poor coordination of hands, speech and eye movements, due to 脑啡肽础抗体degeneration of the cerebellum with variable involvement of the brainstem and spinal cord. SCA23 is an -onset autosomal dominant form characterized by slowly progressive gait and limb ataxia, with variable additional features, including peripheral neuropathy and dysarthria.
